Editing Wallpaper
The Edit Wallpaper accordion in Studio controls the wallpaper image that lives at the top of your Studio preview and gets included when you save a theme.
To apply a wallpaper to your actual Home Screen, see Applying a Wallpaper.
Picking a wallpaper
- From Walls, opens Walls in a picker so you can grab any wallpaper from the library.
- From Photos, uses your own image.
- Clear, removes the active wallpaper.
Pan + Scale
Same controls as Custom Icons import. Drag the joystick to pan, drag the slider to scale, tap Reset to recentre.
Overlay
A solid colour drawn on top of the wallpaper image with adjustable opacity. Useful for darkening a busy photo so your icons read clearly.
Hue Shift
Rotates the colour wheel of the wallpaper image. Lets you take a green wallpaper and shift it to blue without re-finding a similar image. Tap the toggle to enable, drag the slider to rotate.
Background type (no image)
If you don't want a photo, use the type chips to set:
- Solid, single colour wallpaper.
- Gradient, two-colour gradient.
These work identically to the icon background equivalents in Editing Icons : Background.
